Race for Bacon

What is it?
Race for Bacon is the BIGGEST fundraiser of the year! Fundraising takes place for 14 days starting, 09/12/2025 leading up to race day on, 09/25/2025.
Families get donations for the number of laps their student completes on race day.
Funds raised from this event go toward BACON’S EcoWeek, field trips, classrooms supplies and curriculum, sensory tools, and more! Our goal is to raise $30,000.

How do we participate?
Log in or sign up on MYBOOSTER.COM
Register your student/s as a participant by searching for the school by name, Bacon Elementary. Students get a FREE prize just for being registered!
Connect students to sponsors (family, friends, neighbors, etc.) by sharing their fundraising link on Facebook, through email, or even a text.
Sponsors can enter and pay for those donations online through student’s fundraising link!
We do need a lot of volunteers to make this event happen! If you are interested, please SIGN UP HERE!

Race Day!
Race times are divided by grade:
2nd/3rd from 8-9am
K/1st from 9:15-10:15am
4th from 10:30-11:30am
Opt-in Sensory Friendly Race from 12-12:30pm
5th (Color Run) from 1:10-2:10pm
There will be a race track set up (most students will complete 30-35 laps), music, and volunteers to help record lap totals.
